Toyota Kenya Limited is the authorized distributor and service provider of Toyota, Yamaha, HINO and Suzuki brands in Kenya. Toyota Kenya Ltd was incorporated in 1997 as a subsidiary by Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC) the trading arm of Toyota Motor Corporation

Our History

1962 – Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC) establishes Nairobi Liaison Office
1964 – TTC starts Toyota Business in Kenya
1990 – TTC started Yamaha Business in Kenya
April 1999 – TTC enters into a Joint venture with Lonrho Africa (50:50)
May 2001 – 100% acquisition by TTC
May 2012 – TTC acquires 98% shares of CFAO – a French multinational dealing with mobility, health care, consumers goods, energy and technology.
2013 – Toyota Kenya starts distribution of Hino bus and trucks.
2016 -TTC acquires 100% shares in CFAO
April 2017 – TTC integrates all African operations under CFAO, including Toyota Kenya.
2019 – Toyota Kenya starts selling and distribution of Suzuki brands.
